  • Individual counselling provides a space solely focused on you, where we can explore your experiences and help you develop a more grounded relationship with yourself.

    I often support individuals with anxiety, which can show up as overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, panic, emotional burnout, or difficulty slowing your mind down.

  • Relationship counselling provides a space where we can focus on what is happening between you and your partner, which means your relationship is my client.

    Relationship struggles often involve recurring emotional patterns, such as conflict, withdrawal, fear of rejection or abandonment, difficulty expressing needs, or feeling disconnected from each other.

    In our work together, we will get curious about your internal experience and create new opportunities for emotional connection by sharing deeper aspects of your experience with each other.

    At this time, due to the scope of my current training, I am able to provide relationship counselling only to relational pairs. Individuals from all relationship structures are welcome in my practice, and I am happy to support clients in exploring concerns related to dating, intimacy, communication, and relationships through individual therapy.

  • Sex and intimacy can be some of the most vulnerable topics to talk about, yet they are important aspects of overall wellbeing and relationships. Many people carry shame, anxiety, confusion, or disconnection around sexuality and intimacy. 

    Through individual or relationship counselling, we can explore the emotional, relational, and physical factors that may be impacting your sexual wellbeing. 

    Areas I can support with include:

    • Erectile or orgasm difficulties

    • Communication about sex and desires

  • I work primarily virtually. Sessions are conducted through Jane App, a secure virtual platform, allowing you to access counselling from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

    If you are looking for in-person counselling, please reach out and we can discuss booking in-person sessions through Crossroads Collective in Langley, BC.

  • I work with adults (19+) seeking support for a range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, intimacy, sexuality, self-esteem, and personal growth.

  • Sex therapy is a form of talk therapy that focuses on concerns related to sexuality, intimacy, sexual wellbeing, and relationships. Common topics include desire and arousal concerns, orgasm and erectile difficulties, communication about sex, intimacy challenges, and creating a more fulfilling sexual relationship.

    There is no physical touch, sexual contact, or undressing involved in sessions. If exercises or strategies are recommended, they are discussed during sessions and completed privately outside of therapy.

  • I accept payment via e-transfer or credit card.

  • At this time I do not direct bill to insurance. A receipt will be provided for you to submit to your extended health plan. Please ensure that your insurance covers RCCs (Registered Clinical Counsellors).

  • I understand that life can sometimes get in the way. You can cancel your session through Jane or email me directly if you need to cancel or reschedule. However, your session time is reserved only for you, so I require 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your session.

    For sessions cancelled between 24 and 48 hours prior to your session, a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged. For missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee will be charged.

  • The frequency of counselling depends on your goals and circumstances. Typically we will start with weekly or biweekly sessions and adjust as needed.

  • Confidentiality is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. Information shared during sessions is kept strictly confidential, except in situations where disclosure is required by law or professional ethical standards. These limits to confidentiality will be reviewed during the informed consent process.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to counselling, your goals, relevant background information, and any questions you might have about the therapeutic process.

  • Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to help determine whether we may be a good fit. If I am not the right fit for you, I’d be happy to support you in finding a different counsellor who better suits your needs.
